Winter Activities To Get You Moving

Family Snowshoeing

The winters can be long in Alberta and it's not uncommon to feel sad, irritated or less energetic during the winter months.  Exercise has been proven to reduce symptoms of depression and make you feel better.  There are many activities that can get you outdoors and exercising.  Do something spontaneous like skating, tobogganing or snowshoeing!

TOBOGGANING

Mission Hill or "The Hill" or "Seven Hills" as the locals call it is known as the best toboggan hill in St Albert (13 Mission Ave, St Albert).  It's a collection of sloping hills featuring something for all skill levels.  Adventurous thrill seekers can slide down right from the top, while families with younger children can start closer to the base of the hill on one of the smaller mounds.
